After five years of work and restoration, the Museum of Fashion and Costume has finally opened its doors. An exceptional venue that invites the public to discover tailor-made exhibition spaces at the heart of the building, including a large gallery on the first floor.
For its first exhibition, Collections-Collection, the museum brings together two collections located at opposite ends of Provence. This fusion lends exceptional richness to the celebration of the history of costume from the French Mediterranean coast and the history of textiles. Through a chronological journey, this exhibition offers the public an overview of fashion in Provence since the 18th century. Iconic costumes, or the major pieces from the Costa and Pascal collections, finally take pride of place in the display cases of this much-anticipated new museum.
